Here's an idea for a teen or adult program that lets crafters create "books" to add to a shelf to serve as hidden storage. This could also be a project for your volunteers or Friends group to create and sell as a fundraiser for your library.

You or your volunteers / Friends group can make gift bags out of book covers, and sell them to raise funds for your library.

Your library may be eligible to apply for Library Journal‘s annual award for the Best Small Library in America, which honors the U.S. public library that demonstrates outstanding service to communities of 25,000 or less (see their guidelines for details on this criterion.)
