8am - 9am: Friends of the CCBC members only (anyone can join/renew at door)
9am - 1pm: everyone welcome!
(Books are replenished regularly throughout the day, so it's ok if you can't be there right away)
Location:
- Room 401 Teacher Education Building (CCBC Conference Room), 225 N. Mills Street on the UW-Madison Campus (map and parking info).
- Student volunteers will be available to help you load books into your car, so you can pull right up to the CCBC building instead of hauling to a far away parking spot!
Prices:
$4 hardcover picture books and non-fiction ($3 Friends’ members)
$2 paperbacks ($1 Friends’ members)
$2 for hardcover fiction and board books (everyone)
Noon - 1 p.m.: All books $1!
Payment methods: cash, check, or institutional purchase order (which may need to be arranged with administration ahead of time: you must have your institution or district’s tax exempt number, and your institution will then be billed). No credit cards can be accepted for any purchases.
This sale will feature hundreds of new and gently used children's and young adult books, as well as some older books. The sale will include hardcover trade, formula nonfiction, paperback reprints, and more. A majority of the books in the fall sale are less than 2 years old, including many new titles from 2018!
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the CCBC, Inc., which supports the work of the Cooperative Children’s Book Center, a library serving pre-service and practicing librarians and teachers across Wisconsin.
