Project Compass is offering two free online workshops this summer "to build your knowledge and confidence to deliver programs and services that will keep the workforce in your community moving forward in the 21st century."

• 1st workshop:
  June 2011
  Core responses to the basic needs of patrons impacted by the weak economy, and specific responses to job seekers
• 2nd workshop:
  July 2011
  Learn how libraries can support local economic development, and help patrons increase their personal financial skills

Format:

• one live session with self-directed interactions
• reading assignments and related discussions
